Towards the first day of the Revival, I received no plan from the Lord regarding how He wanted the service to run. In my human understanding, I assumed it would be a program consisting of worship, preaching, prayers, and importation. However, the Lord caught us by a surprise and blew our mind when the service started…
The First Day
In preparation for the revival, the church went on a 3-day fast. Even the youth who were new converts decided to join the fast for the first time. The grace of God helped sustain their physical bodies so they were able to fast. As we broke our fast on the first day, during the fast-breaking prayer, the Presence of the Lord was so intense. He told us to be prepared for what He would do – bringing us into a deep intimacy with Him during the service.

As we broke our fast on the first day, during the fast-breaking prayer, the Presence of the Lord was so intense. He told us to be prepared for what He would do – bringing us into a deep intimacy with Him during the service.
Assuming it would be a regular service, we started the pre-service prayer with strong spirit-filled prayers in Heavenly language. The prayer started at 7 PM….and it did not stop till 12.30 AM!!!
The moment the warfare prayer was over, the church went on to worship. Immediately as the worship music started, the Lord Himself stepped into the room and people began to fall to the floor, breaking into loud cries and laughters. His Presence was so tangible that we knew the King of kings Himself was right in the room! The Lord began to take people to Heaven and encounters began taking place.
I decided we should take a break for coffee at 10 PM. However, as I closed our first session with prayers, people were still on the floor! Even the youth who were new to the revival could not leave the room. They refused to take a break and continue staying in the Presence of God till after midnight!
It was a powerful first day of revival. We knew right then that this revival would be different – there would be no pastors’ preaching and ministering because the Lord Himself would run the whole service Himself through personal encounters!!
What a great and awesome God He is!!
The Second Day
We started our service at 8 PM on the second day with expectant hearts for a deeper encounter with the Lord. During our intense warfare prayers, the Lord took people to Heaven and Hell.
A pastor was taken to visit Hell by the Lord. There the Lord showed him how lost souls were in deep torments. A soul was trying to escape from deep torment in Hell. He was trying to climb out but as he was doing so, another lost soul was grabbing onto his hair and pulling him back down. Soon a fire came up and pulled both souls back into Hell fire. The Lord allowed the pastor to feel the intense pain in His Heart towards the lost souls in Hell and reminded him to always evangelize so that people will not end up in Hell fire. The pastor was brought back from Hell and was weeping intensely.
That night our hearts were shaken by the visitation to Hell. The Lord awakened our hearts to the reality of Hell and the importance of evangelizing.
The Third Day
We began our final night with the Lord with powerful worship and warfare prayers. The Lord was faithful in visiting us. He stepped into the room and people immediately fell to the floor. His Presence was intense and penetrating into the deepest part of our hearts and souls!
The Lord gave us a special word concerning the year 2020 and special promises to individuals during the prayers. We were ushered into the New Year in His Presence. At midnight, we broke into a powerful and joyful worship in His Presence! What a faithful God He is!!!
It is an exciting year ahead! Keep seeking the Lord faithfully and He promised to always draw near to us as we draw near to Him! It is another year to seek the Lord more than ever before and to love Him with all our hearts.
